Anchors

Elastec/American Marine offers anchor systems for securing containment boom, curtains and other marine devices. They are offered as complete kits with a choice of anchor sizes.

Note that when anchoring boom, it is best to know the water depth and current to determine the correct number and size of anchors as well as the length of anchor line. It is benefical that a buoy is placed between the anchor line and the boom to help the boom mantain the correct attitude in the water.

Navigation Warning Lights

Two sizes of warning lights are offered to caution marine traffic of containment boom location. These may be battery or solar powered.
