The 2023 photo contest winner was Max Montgomery for his drone shot of a turbidity curtain installation at Lake Tahoe. The image is an excellent example of how silt and sediment are contained during a construction project.

2021 ELASTEC PHOTO CONTEST WINNER
Congratulations to [REDACTED] with [REDACTED GOVERNMENT AGENCY] on winning our 2021 Photo Contest. He sent pictures of their E23 Landing Craft work boat being used in North Dakota to help maintain dams, piers, docks and waterways. [REDACTED GOVERNMENT AGENCY] will receive a reward. (We weren’t allowed to use names or agencies to avoid potential endorsement issues.)

CONTEST RULES
- Entries must be the original photo(s) of the submitter.
- Entries must be submitted using the online entry form on the Elastec website.
- Each entry should contain the following information:
- a). Name of photographer (first and last)
- b). Name of business
- c). Location of photograph
- d). A description of the photograph and equipment deployment
- e). Entrant’s contact information (telephone number, e-mail address)
- Photographs should be the highest resolution possible. If emailing from your cell phone, send the full resolution file.
- The winning photograph will be chosen by Elastec staff.
- One Grand Prize winner will be selected. The Grand Prize winner will receive an Amazon gift card.
- Contest winner will be notified by e-mail. Winner will be announced on the Elastec website and social media pages after notification occurs.
- By signing and submitting the entry form, entrants are agreeing to grant Elastec the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to use, re-use, publish, and re-publish the photographs in displays related to the contest; in Elastec printed and electronic publications and in conjunction with any copyrighted matter, in any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, promotion, art, advertising and trade, news, informational and educational purposes and to copyright the same, under its original name or otherwise. The submitter thereby releases and discharges Elastec from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photos, including without limitation any and all claims for invasion of privacy.
