DIAPHRAGM PUMPS
We provide air, hydraulic and diesel driven diaphragm pumps to complement our oil skimmers. Diaphragm pumps can self-prime, do not typically emulsify recovered oil and can run dry. They are therefore a good match for an oil skimmer. Contact us to discuss your project specifications.
ATEX Diaphragm Pump: Elastec offers a 1 inch diaphragm pump with ATEX rating. ATEX stands for atmosphères explosibles. It’s a European Union directive from the European Committee for Standardization that covers “equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.” An atmosphere can be explosive for several reasons, including flammable gases, mists or vapors, or combustible dust.
The E1 ATEX pump is supplied with an Aluminum body, 1 inch inlet / outlet fitted with 2 inch Camlocks, Buna conductive diaphragms, Buna Balls and O rings, Air motor in the center.

E1: Elastec offers a 1 inch diaphragm pump with our drum skimmers. The E1 pump is supplied with Polypropylene, Aluminum or Stainless body according to the application. Buna, Neoprene, Teflon, Viton or PTFE Diaphragms & Ball Valves are available. A Polypropylene body & wetted parts with Buna diaphragms are standard.
M4: Elastec offers a 1 ½ inch diaphragm pump with our drum skimmers. The M4 pump is supplied with aluminum, cast iron or stainless body according to the application. Buna, Neoprene, Viton or PTFE diaphragms & ball valves are available. An aluminum body & wetted parts with Buna diaphragms are standard.
M8: Elastec offers a 2 inch diaphragm pump for us with our drum skimmers or for other pumping applications. The M8 pump can be supplied with an aluminum, stainless steel or cast iron body according to the application. Buna, Neoprene, Viton, PTFE, Saniflex, Polyurethane, or Wil-Flex diaphragms & ball valves are available. An aluminum body and wetted parts with Buna diaphragms are supplied as standard.
