BOOM TETHER

Containment boom tether system for securing floating booms to piles up to 18 inch diameter. The Boom Tether Unit is made of hard rubber discs separated by rope floats threaded on a 5/16″ stainless steel chain. The tether surrounds the pile and allows the boom to move up and down with changing tides.

This method of securing booms underneath jetties is quick and simple. It will help to keep the boom from rubbing on the hard surfaces (which reduces boom life). Larger sizes are available on request.
