AquaCoil
Elastec’s AquaCoil is a compact, auto-inflating boom for calm waterways. The compact 50 ft section of boom is stored and transported in a small tote, easily carried by one person. When needed for deployment simply open the tote, place the tow bridles, and stretch out the boom. The AquaCoil uses ASTM end connectors so it can be quickly connected to other booms to create longer sections of containment when needed. The boom is towable by boat or remote vehicle. By scrunching up the boom and placing in the box, the recovery of the AquaCoil is efficient.
