PILE SLIDER MOORING BUOY
The Elastec Pile Slider is a mooring buoy that is designed to fit around a circular pile and provides a connection point for oil containment boom.
On each side of the Pile Slider is a Universal Boom Connector capable of receiving containment boom of various sizes up to 24 inch. The modular design allows the buoy to be assembled around the pile. Constructed from galvanized steel, the Pile Slider has replaceable wear strips on the inner surfaces. It provides additional buoyancy for the boom installation and more secure means of keeping booms in place over conventional anchors.
