– THE ELASTEC STORY
IT ALL STARTED WITH A BUCKET
1990 arbeiteten in Crossville, Illinois, zwei hart arbeitende Unternehmer, Donnie Wilson und Jeff Cantrell, auf den Ölfeldern des Illinois-Beckens und versuchten, eine Ölgrube mit einem Abschäumer zu reinigen, der mehr Wasser als Öl aufnahm. Frustriert machte einer von ihnen die Bemerkung, dass mit einem 5-Gallonen-Eimer mehr Öl gewonnen werden könne als mit dem nutzlosen Abschäumer, den sie verwendeten. Er warf einen Eimer ins Öl. Der Eimer landete in der Grube und drehte sich wie eine Trommel. Öl klebte am Eimer und ließ das Wasser zurück. Es war ein "Eureka" Moment!
